When Tara first reached out to me earlier this year, I asked her what is holding her back from achieving her fat loss goal and her response:

"Lack of direction and motivation"

This isn't the first time I've heard these obstacles and Tara most certainly won't be the last.

Tara was already playing football twice a week and weight training.

Yet... she was getting no closer to her fat loss goal.

It's safe to say she was getting a little frustrated and felt relatively demoralised at the lack of progress from the effort she was putting in.

Now Tara was working from home, it quickly became apparent to me that her lack of daily activity and nutrition were the biggest hindrance to her progress.

As Tara was already in the habit of weight training, all she needed was a proper structured training plan via my app to quickly see her strength sky rocket.

The biggest game changer for Tara were the Habit Builders and finding the right nutrition methods that she could consistently stick to.

Tara came to our Habit Builders wanting to be more active throughout the day and wanted to reduce her drinking midweek.

We discussed specific behaviours that could make her achieve these outcomes and she left the sessions with specific plans and habits she could implement straight away.

For nutrition, Tara had used Myfitnesspal before.

She saw some success, but like a lot of people, the habit of "tracking calories" never stuck.

Tara said she had actually enjoyed tracking calories, but she had set the expectation of tracking calories for EVERY day which is where people fail.

After one of our 10-minute check-in calls, we came up with a plan for Tara to hit a calorie and a protein goal Mon-Fri when she was in "work mode".

As long as she was within 10% of these targets for the 5 days, she earnt the right to not track a SINGLE THING over the weekend.

This completely transformed her mindset and consistency when it came to nutrition and myfitnesspal.

Knowing she could enjoy her weekend without having to worry about tracking removed all the stress!
