Mikey’s Story

“The main thing I wanted to do with Tobias was lose body fat. I’ve always yo-yo’d with weight by following fad diets and training regimes and wanted something realistic. I managed to lose 12kg in a short space of time without having to do anything drastic. I saw a noticeable difference in my appearance which massively boosted my confidence.

I tend to get fairly bored of the same routine in the gym but Tobias tweaked my programme accordingly as I progressed. I was able to deal with stress better, was more strict with myself in routine, and overall more positive in how I approached certain situations.''

Mikey came to me a few years back wanting to lean up.

He wanted to lose some body fat and just feel better within his own skin.

Mikey’s biggest challenge with losing body fat was finding a way to balance his social life whilst trying to reach his goal, especially living in London.

He had previously attempted to log calories before moving to London, which he had some success with.

However, he would still only last a couple of weeks before losing motivation and eventually give up.

Mikey attempted to log his calories again in London, on multiple occasions, however, he struggled to make it past a week each time.

And this wasn't his fault.

Mikey would get to a Monday morning after a sociable weekend with eating out and drinking (where living in London this is very easy to do) and feel like he had ruined everything by not logging.

He would feel pretty shitty about himself and just completely give up logging.

So, Mikey reached out to me for some help.

He knew I had other methods other than tracking calories up my sleeve that works.

So, when Mikey signed up, instead of wasting time and telling him to track calories at the weekend, we found methods which he was actually able to stick to, such as:

👉🏼 Time-restricted eating

👉🏼 Increased steps

👉🏼 Nutritional diet Mon-Fri

Mikey found that during the week when he was in ‘work’ mode, he was able to focus more on his goals that we had set.

Once Mikey knew that you don’t HAVE to log your calorie intake at the weekend and can still achieve fat loss... the negative self-thoughts and emotions on Monday morning disappeared!

He didn't feel like a failure every week.

He actually felt SUCCESSFUL by being able to stick to a plan that suited his lifestyle.

This lead to Mikey losing body fat around his belly and being able to see some ab definition again, more toned arms and shoulders, and a lot more shape to his pecs!
