A few years back, @davidmillercoach fell into the trap of putting work before himself.
The majority of David’s time was focused towards his work and he found himself unable to prioritise enough time to work on himself…
which he desperately wanted to do!
David just didn’t have the structure, guidance and accountability in order for this to happen.
The time he did use to work on himself wasn’t giving him the results he wanted.
David felt very frustrated!
David’s goal for the last couple of years prior to working with me was to put on muscle without compromising his low body fat.
He struggled to reach this goal by himself…
until he reached out to me.
The biggest influence my coaching had on David was the accountability.
Being held accountable is very underestimated.
As soon as David knew he had someone to report to each week, his productivity and prioritises completely changed.
See, when you do things on your own, it is extremely hard to hold yourself accountable.
There are no consequences or repercussions. You start to convince yourself your excuses are plausible.
“Ah well I’ll start again next week”
“F*ck it, I only live once!”
“I’m so busy right now”
As soon as you hire yourself a coach, you’re now accountable to someone else!
You don’t want to let yourself AND your coach down!
This accountability resulted in David:
- Increasing his lean mass from 63.5kg to 67kg
- Reducing his body fat from 10.8% to 8.7%
As you can imagine from seeing the picture on the right, David’s t-shirts fitted MUCH better and he felt so much more confident wearing them.
He also felt super chuffed that he was able to maintain a low body fat % which enabled him to feel confident around his mid-section with his abs!
